Finally, good news for Samsung’s one of the successful Android based smart phone Samsung Galaxy S II users. Today Samsung announced on their twitter, very soon Samsung Galaxy S II to get upgrade to latest version of Android operating system which is Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich. Dates are not yet confirmed but it would early 2012.
Earlier this month Google announced latest version of Android operating system named Ice Cream Sandwich. It was announced along with Samsung Galaxy lineups new phone Galaxy Nexus which will be pre loaded with Ice Cream Sandwich. Ice Cream Sandwich comes with bunch of new features and improvements including face detection, improved notification bar and improved Gmail.
HTC also confirmed that bunch of its phones to get Ice Cream Sandwich update starting early 2012. Motorola Droid Razr to get Android 4.0 upgrade in early 2012.
