Its not new to see a Mac vs PC advert or a funny video. World is changing too fast but few things are still not changed much. Since last 20+ years the well known 2 companies are still completing for personal computer operating system market.

There are plenty of operating systems bumped up but they did not make it to personal computing instead settled and dominating non personal computing market. Now lets look at how these two personal computing giants are competing in the modern era.

Although the numbers may not be accurate as there is not definitive measure available on modern platforms to come up with accurate figures but it gives glimpse of their current stand.

Over 89% of personal computing market is still owned by Windows but Mac OS maker Apple is able to secure more followers in Social networking sites liked Twitter and Youtube while Windows is liked by more Facebook users than Apple.

As I said earlier, it is not completely accurate to compare a company account(Apple) vs a product account(Windows) but the overall market share gives a clear idea that Microsoft or Windows is still dominating the market.
